Abeja Engineering, LLC is a Houston-based Civil Engineering consulting firm. Owned and operated by Rosa Alvarez, PE, Abeja Engineering was founded to provide clients with amazing Civil Engineering services such as Utility planning and design and to serve them with loyalty, dedication, and integrity. Abeja Engineering is a result of 21 years of proven experience across the City of Houston.

Ms. Alvarez has 21 years of experience in, utility coordination and utility design projects. Specific background includes project management of numerous projects, relocation design and system improvements. Responsibilities have included conflict investigations between existing utilities and proposed infrastructure, conflict resolution with underground utilities and infrastructure, preparation of utility relocation concept plans, preparation of cost estimates and utility agreements, preparation of relocation drawings with specifications and estimates, preparation of traffic control plans, obtaining construction permits, scheduling and coordinating construction. Additional responsibilities include direct contact with clients, project bidding, project proposals, management of project’s invoice and account receivables.
